1963 Split Window Corvette black with red gut. The awards it's achieved speak for themselves.

Another gem from Corvette Mike . Bring A Trailer auction: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...ette-coupe-49/

----Thats a good looking 63, Steve! All the right awards too. 340hp is the best choice for someone not fuel injection savvy who wants to actually drive thier 63.....Bill S

Agree, 340 really is the best 63 engine if you intend to drive it. My 63 340 was my favorite among the 63s I've owned. However, now that I own a fuelie and figured out (with much help from others) how to make it run right, I can say there is some magic about the FI that a carbed car can't match.

----Agreed! My 65 white fuelie coupe (which I really miss) came with 4.11s and off road under car exhaust and it was posatively the sweetest sounding Corvette at around 5500 to 6500 RPM. Both Bob Gold and Chip Miller took it for a spin one year at B-Gold and were gone for half an hour. They came back with huge grins on both thier faces. I said "you buzzed it up didn't you" and they said "yup, both of us".....Bill S

Wow, that’s a pretty car.

A C2 Fuelie does make for sweet music over 5500 and 4:11s get you there quicker! :3gears:

I agree, but I am scared to go there often as mine still has the original block and I have perenially bad luck. I've often toyed with building a clone to drive like it was a new car. I had a real 435 car with a correct (non-original) block for many years, and I drove it like I was trying to break the crankshaft. That car was more fun than all the other midyears I've had combined.

Original engine and 4.11 gears (original trans lost many years ago):

Yes, the most fun cars I've owned have been the least original ones.......
