I made these for a project as I just couldn't make sense paying $400 for an original and worrying about it getting stolen. I have a few extras if interested pm me.

Nicely done!

Is that your 67 in the photo? If so, does it still have the factory rear and what size wheels have you fit on the back? Looks great.

Yes, I've had my 67 since 1981 (my first car I bought at age 16!) Stock rear with 15x7 Chrome reverse with Hurst pie crust cheaters 30x10. I run the same slots with Firestone Super Sports on the car as well. Thanks!

Looks terrific. I can’t seem to fit any decent size rear wheels on my ‘67 GTO without the tires rubbing on the wheel openings. Wheels & tires that used to fit great on my old 67 Chevelle won’t fit in the wheelhouse of my 67 GTO. Yours looks like it rides a little higher maybe? I’ll start a new thread so I don’t derail this thread.

My car has had the wheel lip rolled in back back in the 70's and air shocks. I am currently running air-lift bags as the 30" tall Hurst cheaters are tight. Not so much on the width as the height. It's alot to stuff in there for sure.

That’s a killer day two look on your GTO... sure like the blacked out tail panel!

The '67 Chevelle rear end is 1 inch narrower than the GTO rear end. If I remember correctly Pontiac had that wide trac thing going on. The GTO rear end was 61 inches wide and the Chevelle rear end was 60 inches wide. Same thing with the Camaro and Firebird.
