Scott,
You need to bring your 1970 Buick GS to MCACN in 2020 for EITHER "The Class of '70" or Vintage Certification......Do It! Dan |

I found the correct EA stamped master cylinder and rebuilt it . Found some Delco brake pads on eBay and turned the rotors . Delco Pleasurizer shocks were new in the boxes and more cleaning was done on the underside. Had the original carb rebuilt again, new Sun Super Tach II thanks to SupernovaSS ! The BCA Nationals are in Oklahoma City in June , will be there and ready . Thanks Bruce for updating the photos.

Thank You ! In 1980 I had a 1971 GS455 that was in the same overall condition as this car is in 2019. Time warp !

Nice! I like them all.....but the 1970 Buick GS is the one to have :)

IS that thing original OR WHAT? Congrats on such a well preserved example. I love it. Is that a green part number stamp on the back of the disc brake shield? |
Missed out on this car to the second owner in the 90's It was in a local CO rag for $5500 or so dollars then when we saw it advertised. When it was brought to WI I remember it had a high altitude type of water injection set up on it or something to that effect. @nd owner had it a long time and had a bit of a time selling it for years. Up until a decade ago I had its reverse, a 70 GS 350, Brown, white top and white interior. Its a good car, enjoy.

Those CO UT WY cars are FREEZE DRIED... great for preservation of metal.

Great car Scott. I've always been a fan of the 70 Buicks, and also have a thing for the 72 Grand Prix SJ's. Both beautiful series of cars to me.
Another excellent job on the pictures as well Bruce. :BruceRocks: |
Thank you very much.. Your Z looks like it is going to be really nice , good luck with the rest of the work Sir.. I finally got the time to finish up the installation of the Super Tach II that I scored on evilbay from Jason , Really nice piece !!
|
I found a set of factory spiral shocks for the GS , and the non sway bar rear lower control arms will get put back on for the Buick Club of America Nationals in OKC.

Father's Day weekend I trailered the GS to OKC .It scored 388 points out of 400 to get Archival Elite . It was the Buick Club of America Nationals . That is the unrestored class.

Nice Scott. Well done!! Congrats!
