'64 Mercury Park Lane, Factory 390/4-speed Convertible
This one is a basket case to say the least, and if I were a betting man I'd predict it will never be restored to its former glory. Still, it's a really interesting example of how you could equip a full-size luxury cruiser nearly any way you wanted back in the mid '60s.
The seat pattern on these is one of my favorites - had a pair of these buckets, in black, in a '55 Chevy I used to own. Link to 1964 Park Lane Convertible auction https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/52wAA...QW/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Gx4AA...QC/s-l1600.jpg |
What a cool piece! 64s have great chrome and bright trim. Surprised it doesn't have the Marauder flags on the fender. Sadly, I agree it will likely never see the road again. Parts are hard to find and finished value isn't much, relatively.
