396 engine ID question
So this might be an amateur question but I’m goinf to ask it anyway. Been looking around and seeing that the letter “F” in the numbers with the partial vin on the block means it was put into a Fremont made car. Correct? But when I look on ChevelleStuff.net it shows the letter “Z” as being the letter code used for being in a Fremont built car. Just wondering where the mix up is.
Thanks. |
Z, Fremont, Chevelle. F, Flint Mi. passenger car

Hey thanks mike. Is there a link that shows all the plants letter codes and the cars they went in? At least something similar to that
