Day 2 Exhaust Crossover Use

At what point in time was an exhaust crossover (H pipe) more widely seen and used? I know Chrysler started using them in the 60's. Probably more interested in Motion / Nickey / Thomas, and overall street car use.

Thanks,
Tim

Didn't know Chrysler ever used them, but Ford sure did in the mid 60's.

Didn’t Ford have an H on the Mustang in the mid 1960s? I’m sure someone will chime in…

FWIW, my father added an H pipe when he first added headers on the green 68 back in the end of 68 early 69. Each exhaust system he continued to replace he added the H again and again.
