I have a 70 Buick GSX steering wheel that was also used on the Yenko Deuce. This was acquired from a retired Inland employee who claims that they were allowed to pick out a steering wheel for Christmas one year. The grain is excellent in all areas. It needs a real good cleaning. This is a bare wheel with no hub or other attaching parts but they are easily accessible. These wheels are very rare, especially in this condition. The price was $3250 plus shipping now $2495 plus shipping. If you have any questions please ask.

Is the lack of the metal ring around the perimeter what makes these unique to the other wheels? Just trying to learn.

No finger holders changes the diameter a bit so it is/seems thicker Rick, and also no trim ring yes.

Comparison:

Whoops. I guess that was pretty obvious but did not initially notice that. Also has stitching on the inner ring whereas the Chevelle wheel has a groove with no stitching. Hard item to come by indeed.

Those notches cut around the spokes are odd. None of mine have that. Can I see the little square hole on the back at the top, as well as the circular letter code molded on the backside bottom?

I have only seen two of these in person since I was aware of what they were. They both had the "plugs" by the spokes and I was only smart enough to buy this one. I will get some more pics tomorrow for you Joe.

Sorry this took so long, but here they are. The "plugs" are only at the 3 and 9 spokes and not at the 6 spoke? The wheel is still available.

What is the circumference of the black rubber - not around the complete wheel but how thick is the rubber, as measured by circumference
Thanks

3 1/4 inches. This wheel is a comfort grip center with the 4 spoke all rubber sport wheel that was introduced in 1971 ring.
