Does this qualify as a Barn Find
4 Attachment(s)
Here are some pics of my 1967 Chevelle SS that I just purchased. The Chevelle was purchased in 1973 by the 2nd owner who wanted a big block Chevelle. He drove it all thru the 70's and parked it in 1980 where it sat until now.

the car has NOS front fenders that were installed in 1980 right before the car was parked.
The original engine was destroyed in the mid 70's when the carb stud was swallowed into the engine and destroyed a piston and cracked the block. The engine was rebuilt using a IV code 396 from a big car. all of the original heads intake and water pump were used in the rebuild. The owner has a set of deep dish(his words not mine) Cragers that will be included with the car. These have been stored and never installed. I hope to bring the car home this weekend and I will post additional pics when we pull it out |

What are your plans with it? I would clean her up....rebuild all the safety mechanics and drive her :) Dan |

The goal is to get it home and see if i can get it to run. The original fenders were on the second floor of the barn. They have some dents but i think i want to put them back on. i love the original look of the car. The owner could not find the keys so i haven't been able to get into the trunk to see what treasure is in there. The owner also has the white Hurst 4 speed ball to give me . i will be posting more pics and possibly video of the car being removed from the barn,
