Our first Official Registration was received today! Mr. Albert Galdi has the distinction of being No. 1 for the 24th Edition of the SUPERCAR REUNION.
Al is a long time SCR supporter and participant and has a number of cars to choose from in his stable. So, ..... what will he be bringing this year? Maybe something completely new that we've never seen before? https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...16%2F1f609.png We know he's working on a new ............ https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...16%2F1f601.pnghttps://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...16%2F1f601.png

Big Thanks to Al for his continued participation and generous support.

A big thanks to the SCR planning committee for having me back to provide the Thursday night BBQ dinner for the meet n greet.

Attached is the menu. I'm adding a Texas flair this year with hot links! Avril Bleh in Cincinnati has been making smoked sausages for well over a century. You wont want to miss these. Monster Energy will also be providing some great door prizes.

Who's next to sign up?

Jball.

Copo_Cartel 03-08-2021 12:46 AM

Sounds tasty Jason. Your grub is second to none. Your competition BBQ sure does pay off.

ANDY M 03-08-2021 08:42 PM

Al, I look forward to racing you again. My car got a new pair of shoes over the winter, so I can put the grunt to the ground.
Can't wait!!

Rich, nice meeting you, as well as many others last year at SCR.
Folks, after a disappointing car year with most events cancelled , I was proud of the SCR team to go ahead with the event. I credit this event with giving me the motivation to get my car running and out of the shop. It was the one bright spot of 2021 car event season for me.
If, for no other reason than to meet up with knowledgable, kind, great people and have fun, you all need to make a priority, mark your calendars, and make an effort to attend. You will not be disappointed. Mr Perry is a great cordial host and made me feel welcome from the 1st event I attended. The other reason to attend, besides great food and camaraderie, is the cringing at seeing stunningly beautiful, trailer queen worthy cars being thrashed and driven(as intended) like we did leaving the high school parking lot on the last day of school!

EXACTLY !!!! After a life of NOT fitting what I wanted to do into my schedule, the lesson I took away was...take the time to do what you enjoy. Work will ALWAYS be there when you get back...the opportunities you pass up may not...:flag:

Copo_Cartel 03-10-2021 03:49 PM

Well said Mr. B. Thank you from all the SCR team.

R68GTO 03-10-2021 10:35 PM

I'm really bummed out that I won't make it this year. I hope you all have a great time, I'm confident you will!

Copo_Cartel 03-11-2021 12:41 AM

I think you can do it, Jim. I kicked it hi gear and don’t know where I found the energy to stay up past midnight many a night to meet the deadline. I’ll come up to Minster and help. (Although you probably don’t want me touching the perfection of JL?!, lol)

If it's the car not being done, so what ? There's next year for that.

I have no idea if I will haul a car down there, but I want to be a part of this for the first time. Maybe help in the pits, volunteer with working the venue, sit on my ass and enjoy the event ??

R68GTO 03-11-2021 09:01 AM

Car will be done by then, just have a family vacation planned with parents and siblings. I'll choose family over cars (no offense to you guys of course) every time, just wish they didn't fall at the same time:flag:

I'm confident that I speak for all the SCR family when I say, "No offense taken". That's a decision many of us have made at one time or another, and I'm sure we all support.
Maybe next year. :biggthumpup::biggthumpup:

Copo_Cartel 03-11-2021 11:33 PM

Remember...you can choose your friends...you can’t choose your family !!
