The magnetic switch was early in the mail and waiting for me after work today so I had to install it and test it. 1st “On” / Low speed, 2nd “Hi” speed, 3rd “Off”/park. The washer pump tested good too. The white doo-dad in the video is the switch that I replaced and it releases and latches the drive shaft that connects to the wipers. Brilliant Rube Goldberg! :hmmm: :naughty: :D

Well done Sam. I may be bending your ear soon for a wiper motor repair.

It’s been 17 days since an update. I’m afraid this thread has been declining ever since it started, so really, the only thing to do is to sell me the car, and rather cheaply, that way it prevents me from writing anymore horrendously long run-on sentences that your Elementary School teacher told you was not proper English, about a mean looking Day 2 Chevelle that even a non-GM car owner like myself could easily add to his fleet and take all the credit for the work done. You’ll be hearing from my “people department” soon regarding my lucrative offer. :scholar:
Nice work Samminator!!! Cheers Dave |

Dave, it seems your keeping track of these things :hmmm: and that I may have shirked my duties :confused2:. Here’s a few shots of the engine post rebuild, post cosmetic restoration.....
