1973 Nova

Not my favorite year, but what a clean example! Just listed less than an hour ago.

Very nice car...lots of potential. Drive it as is...add a few things [wheels/tires] and just have fun. Great candidate for a BB and TH400 or maybe a stronger SB and...??

A rust free body with mint interior is always worth a look...very fair price.

I like it...but, then I like Novas

That looks like Grandma's car......How did it stay so rust free coming from the midwest?

Drop in a nice 406 small block, built 700R4 tranny, and 3.73/4.10 gear with some drag radials. Leave the car as is with hubcaps, and surprise a few people along the way.

I am building a nice sleeper 406 that would be perfect for this car. With this combo you may even get near 20 mpg on the highway.

Manual drum brakes and someone has had the headliner redone I believe. I like this one much more as it has disc brakes and a couple more doors but is much cleaner and could be a super sleeper.

Brian, that '77 is going to have the little 7.5 rear end with 26 spline axles, so that would have to be changed before any power was added.

Sorry that is not correct. If it was ordered with the G80 option as my 78 6cyl was then it would have a 8.5.

That may have been an exception, but I would guess that most 6 cylinder cars were not ordered with G80. Starting in '76 the 6 cylinder Nova got the 7.5 rear end, unless like yours, it was special ordered.

If you upgrade the driveline...adding power discs is no big deal, pretty straight forward and the parts are easy to get. I like the idea of the 406 and OD tranny...with 4.10 gears it would be a blast to drive.
