Yenko Deuce Cushion Grip Steering Wheel

1 Attachment(s)
One of the rarest GM steering wheels ever produced. This one came directly from Yenko Chevrolet, and was purchased from an ex-employee. Complete used original GM wheel, with GM horn contact ring, original GM horn cap, and original GM hub. Shows some grain wear on the front side, but still a very nice piece. The ultimate interior upgrade for your Deuce! These were also sold through the Yenko catalog as an upgrade for 69 Yenko cars. Realistically priced at $1600.00 complete, plus shipping. e mail me at [email protected] with any questions. Thanks sYc for the ad.

What's the part number of this wheel?
Is there accent trim imbedded in the perimeter?

What months was this wheel option available and when was it discontinued? 1970 only? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

There are no part numbers stamped or printed on ANY of the GM 3 spoke wheels. (cushion grip, comfort grip, or rosewood) There is a groove molded on the outside, but these wheels DID NOT use the stainless steel trim that the common chevelle wheels had, and the rim of this wheel is much thicker than those wheels. This wheel was not a factory option on Camaro or Chevelle. It was used in 1970 only as the factory wheel in the Buick GSX, in which only about 700 or so were produced, so aside from 70 GSX, this is a Yenko-only piece. It should also be noted that these wheels do not have the molded finger grips on the backside, as the 70 Chevelle comfortgrip wheels had. I do have an NOS GM thin comfort grip wheel with the stainless band on the outside too...is that what you are looking for?? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Here's a comparison pic.

This wheel was never offered as a factory option. As noted above, it was factory installed on Buick GSX in 70 only. Yenko offered the wheel as an extra-cost option on Yenko Deuces, and also offered the wheel in his catalog as an over-the-counter add-on. I believe the original Yenko catalog price was around 50 bucks.

Damm Joe this looks like this one???? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=8024396465
Must have just came in the mail in time for you to clean it and ram it up someone's asss... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif I can see making a little money, but to rape someone for 3 times the amount you paid is wrong. By the way I can care less about the wheel its just the point that your only concern is yourself and your willing to screw some unsuspecting person with that BS story on where you picked this wheel up. You should really be ashamed at yourself, and anyone that has bought off you in the past should really think about what you did to them as well. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif

Damm Mark...that's quite a leap don't you think? I'm curious about your forensic skills that prove the eBay wheel is the same wheel Joe is selling. He probably has a half a dozen of every wheel ever installed on any muscle car, so unless you have more facts than you express in your post...my advice would be STFU and start working on your apology post. For you to accuse Joe of fabricating a story about the lineage of that steering wheel is just ludicrous, plus...it's his piece and he can sell it for whatever he feels it's worth or others are willing to pay.

Have to agree with you on that Steve!!!

what it all comes down to is its Joe's wheel to sell as he pleases. Good luck with the sale of the wheel Joe. I have seen far lesser quality items go for more on Ebay. Esp items that need rebuilding etc!!!
