What ever happened to the white 71 72 Motion Corvette...

... that was listed for sale here in the classifieds about 10 years ago? I believe it was white and had psychedelic paint on it? It was in as found condition. I tried searching but can't find the thread.

Yup, I could have sworn that was the one, but my memory escapes me now.

The two most recent legitimate Baldwin Motion Corvette GT‘s that were here for sale one of them is white now that is Adam’s car it was red when he found it in the hands of the original owners family the other one also a 71 was gold with the psychedelic paint it was originally gold with the black Sythe stripe just as Adams is repainted now
I don’t remember seeing a white one with psychedelic paint. The photo Uploading process is so frustrating and archaic on this website I don’t have the patience to use it with my phone.
The gold car I believe is still in the Corfu New York area where it was found 15 years ago

that car was lightly contested on FB... not that it means much. was it ever verified or linked to the CARS magazine cover car? i live not far from Corfu and havent heard anyone talking about it at all.... btw...are you Chris that runs the BM facebook page?

The gold Vette from Corfu with the physchodelic paint is undeniably one of the last two 71 BM GTs built, (Adam’s being the last).
Please send me a link to where it has been lightly contested and I’ll share the facts.
I was recently notified by someone here who now has the car in their collection.
Yes, I’m an admin in the MP (not the BMP) Facebook group and we have many quality contributors. Thanks

when i said lightly contested.. it meant Martyn said he didnt remember this car... and few others said the same thing. it wasnt a big deal. i didnt think much of it.. because Marty gets bombarded with that stuff all he time.

Some of the Motion GTs had different tail lights and you can ID some of them by the taillights.

I tried to play with the photo adjustments to bring out the tail lights but the back of the car it too dark.

You can almost see similar lights to the gold 71 GT on ebay and the one in the magazine article
