This 68 427 Corvette just found and changed hands in Georgia after being with second owner for 46 years.
This is the shop that built the first couple of GT’s until they burned a car and Joel switched to Gary for the GT builds.

Yes I forgot that one interesting yet significant detail that this is a Baldwin delivered car

I was following along the conversation with the new owner on FB. So, would this be considered a Baldwin-delivered Corvette built with Motion Parts, and not technically a BM Corvette? Interesting that they used the SS427 & GT emblems. Were those something that Motion would sell to just anyone, or were they only available to someone with a connection like the owner of the shop where the car burnt?

That’s an awesome restoration project. Great color. Love my blues!

Those trim items were available at your GM dealer for the GTO or the 68 impala SS 427

the famous SS427 emblem used on many Motion cars is originally a truck emblem for a SS427 Impala/Biscayne
