'65 Bonneville, rare 3-speed stick
Neat car. I have the same Dearborn 3-speed in my GTO and it's a nice shifting, durable trans.

----Wonder what the original shifter looked like?......Bill S

Steering column shows it was a three-on-the-tree.

This one is back up for sale, price reduced to $17,500.
Jon, good call on the remnant of the shifter stalk! Link to 1965 Bonneville auction https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/0-cAA...XZ/s-l1600.jpg |
My chrome bill on my 66 was more than that red one. Cool car.

Very very cool
Love it ! |
Should have left it on the column on that car. It isn't like anyone is going to autocross it.
Reminds me of a long time friend of mine. In the early 60's he got his dad's 56 Chevy as a hand me down. First thing he did was buy a floor shifter. Dad came out in the drive way, and said: "took em almost 40 years to get that shifter up on the column where it belongs, and you're going to put it back on the floor in an afternoon." |

The quarter panel on my 65 Bonneville rag top is the same length as the door and quarter on my 69 Camaro, combined. That panel is huge! |
No-sale and relisted for $16,000:
