2023 Cadillac Escalade ESV AWD or GMC Yukon Denal Xl 4wd

Anyone have a contact within 250 miles of Chicago Illinois to purchase (That's on the ground or in Transit prior to 1/1/2023) a Loaded 2023 Cadillac Escalade ESV AWD in Black or a Loaded 2023 GMC Yukon Denali XL 4WD in Black at Window sticker $$$ ? If so, please PM me.

Thanks,
Bill

Can't go wrong with either of those choices, but slight tip to the Escalade especially the "V" edition with supercharged V-8 putting out 682 HP.

I agree, I've been driving Suburban's as a daily driver (I need a Locomotive because I have Bernese Mountain Dogs and a second home in Michigan) since 1978, then switched to Denali 's in 2015, and would like to get an Escalade ESV. I figure it will be $10,000 to $15,000 more, but I sure like to looks specially from the front.

It is amazing how rude car sales people have become lately. I stopped by the GMC dealer I purchased many vehicles from in the past from, including the Denali XL I am currently driving, and when I went to the "Sales Tower" I asked about a 2023 Yukon Denali XL, and 2 salesman just shrugged their shoulders like I was asking for Blood. One General Sales Manager at a local Cadillac dealer said you want to pay $15,000 over list?, I can get you one. My reply was I can get one in Indiana for list price right now and it's in stock but I don't want to drive 300 miles to get it, his was: Well why don't you check in Arizona as well? I truly think the pandemic has created a bunch of Monsters. Time will tell if this $10,000 plus over list price will ever end on anything new and popular. Hey, but I'm going to try. My Dog breeder in West Town New York named me "Patiently Persistent" 27 years ago so time will tell. Stay tuned.

I agree Bill - seems like friendly, helpful sales people are disappearing and entitled youngsters are taking their place. The vehicle shortages have created pri-madonnas who act like they are doing you a favor even talking to customers.

I traded my '18 Escalade in on a '22 Yukon Denalli diesel. Was fortunate to get my GM discount, but got beat up on the trade value. Checked with my Cadillac dealer first & they wouldn't honor my GM discount, plus wanted $10k over list for the Escalade. Check the difference in sticker price between loaded Yukon Denali and the loaded Escalade. As I recall - it's about $30-$40k more for the Escalade. All things considered - no way I was going with an Escalade.

The chevy dealer I use makes some of these places look like a joke. Chevy already marked up the truck I trade for each year buy 5000 then these other dealers want over sticker. He traded me this summer for my year old truck for quite a bit under the 5000 they raised the truck price. The new truck was exactly like my 2021 but price was 5000 more on the sticker

I ordered my 2021 Suburban High Country in Nov 2020. Only one dealer offered a discount. In total I got about $5500 off MSRP. When the vehicle was in transit in late January, the dealer called and offered me $10,000 off MSRP if I would release my order and place a new one. Apparently someone was willing to pay over List to get a vehicle NOW. I inquired how long I would have to wait if I re ordered and was told 6 months. I took my order and happy with it 22 months later. When you order now there are still features they can’t provide due to chip shortages.
The GMC dealer where I had bought 5 vehicles in 20 years from their associate dealers would not offer a dime off MSRP.

They all forget this is a short term situation and the day is going to come where the roles are reversed. I told the gentleman that I bought many cars from that exact thing and he just kind of shrugged his shoulders.

Their volume down with the same amount of overhead... that money has to come from somewhere. Thats all I ever think about when I walk into big flashy dealerships. I'll take my small town GM dealer anyday, living out in the middle of nowhere does have some fringe benefits

Maybe call into Chicago Motor Cars (ask for Mood) and Illinois Motors (ask for Regis) and see if they can locate one?
