Brake Bleeders

The front caliper bleeder screws seem too large for the blue dust caps to fit without splitting. I've had them split before. Is there one that has a smaller OD outlet?

Are the ones your having trouble with splitting, are they reproduction ? There horrible !!! Might not be the bleeder screws ?

Had same problem, possible solution is to soften the plastic via gentile heating to get them to stretch on- just a guess.
Then again I just threw one away and found a temporary solution by putting on a red hardline cap the mfr's ship the lines with not correct by any stretch of the imagination, ok for a driver

Mike, this is my last set of original GM and don’t want to screw them up. Last set of of GM ones split.

There is something about the color blue in plastic, that makes it dry out, crack, shrink more then other colors.I was told years ago to stay away from Blue plastic HO slot car bodies because they crack faster then others over time.
Something about the indigo ink in blue IIRC.
Wonder if this is the case here.

Just heat them a little and slip it on. Still have my OEM caps on my cars with no issues.

That's to bad. I have seen originals that do survive. I have noticed this guy selling these on ebay. Says there NOS. Has anyone ever seen them packaged this way ?
