What's the story with this kind of ebay ad? Seems like a steal at that price. Is it a scam and not really for sale for that amount?

I looked at this car when it was for sale back in 92. The ad states original sheet metal which is true but, it had rot in both fenders and quarter panels which were patched. A elderly gentleman in Duxbury Massachusetts was selling it. He was the original owner. If my memory is correct I think he wanted 16K.

The seller re-listed the car on eBay again. Maybe the posting was flagged?
I would assume something fishy is going on at an asking price of $28K. As noted by others, it sold on bring-a-trailer for $43,750, then went to BJ and sold for $68,200. |
Relisted for $28k in the link below. Still wonder what's up with this deal.
