how to ID each other at MCACN

I saved this from last year someone posted. Anyone have an original version of it? I will be posting it at the show when we are there so everyone can put a car to a face.

I wore mine last year, but didn't see anybody else wearing one.

It’s been tried numerous attempts, car guys just do not like to wear name tags.

One year Brian and Joe (from SCW) had the best version :)

Im not gonna wear a tag but I was thinking of affixing it to the MCACN display card in front of our cars?

Steve Shauger 08-08-2018 10:31 PM

I brought those last year, and left them on a table with SCW Brian & Joe. I'll get more made if someone can distribute at the show. I'm too busy with Vintage but would love someone to step up. Lmk and ill get them made again.

We wore name tags at SCR8...or at least Cliff Lipke did. :D

I can pass them out at the registry table, unless there is a better option.

Charley Lillard 08-09-2018 05:20 PM

MASCAR has a large area that is easy to find.

mike1971 08-10-2018 02:46 AM

Great idea men!

SmallHurst 08-18-2018 05:06 AM

I can have some at the Rusted Tires booth.

And here's another thought;

This year I have secured a different rooom for our Judges, which gives me some availability for the big room upstairs that overlooks the show floor above the Expoteria.

Perhaps we could schedule a specific time for a sYc Members Meet and Greet?

If someone would like to take the lead on this, please let me know. I can provide the space if you guys can staff it. [email protected]

bringing up to the top. Anyone have an original ID sheet I can print out?

bashton 10-04-2018 07:47 PM

If we are going to do this, we'll need some assistance, and with Frank being a first timer, wouldn't be fair to tie him up.

Excuse me, people. Let's not make this harder than it is. It's really simple:

Step 1 (Photo 1): Grab yerself one of them fancy wearin' clothes. Nothing too 'laborate. Just maybe wear that dress t-shirt you been holdin' onta... Add some glass, maybe a set of them aviaters things that make you look like Tom Clancy! You know, that galoot from the movie Hot-Dog???

Step 2 (Photo 2): Read ya some material that some dude seems to be throwin' out of his airplane over the city everytime I go outside! And maybe wear ya a few name badges, if you have any laying around. Use yer good eye for lookin'. You don't wanna miss all them cars!

Step 3 (Photo 3): If all else fails, start yankin' on them ders!!!!

Follow these simple steps and you're SURE to make a name for yourself, and believe me.....EVERYONE will know who you are!!!!:eek2:

Cheers

Dave

… can get a BALLOON FILLED with HELIUM

… that they tie to their belt so as we all walk around

…. we can see where everyone is located

Hi Frank,

I had 160 of these tags made and will make them available for anyone who will take the lead. I know Bob and Rusty have volunteered to put them in their booth or where ever. I also have The Supercar Registry site/business cards. I do like having a set time to meet, perhaps those staying at the Doubletree and attending the Friday 6pm Meet & Greet would be the perfect time & place to get together.LMK
