Put the want ad in the wanted ad for your brake hoses and may get more attention there.

Allot of members are away at the Mcacn show so there may be a delay on your answer.

Wagner & Bendix products both make correct hoses.

There are no hoses reproduced or manufactured which look like an original.
DOT regulations require double crimps VS single crimps as the originals had.
I had a set of hoses dated mid 70's which were single crimp however I do not believe they were produced much after that time frame.

Last NOS front disc brake hoses for a 69 F body I saw went for nearly a grand.

Here is my first attempt at stenciling the rear brake hose on my '68 Camaro. Not perfect and I think there's room for improvement but it's a start!

I had issues doing this using paint before and on Grady's Red COPO I switched to a acrylic ink, worked great, took several light coats applied with a Badger airbrush. Used the same ink for the tank stencil, tape pulled off clean.

Mike, you are the man! Only an Italian could have come up with something like this. I can only imagine what your stuffed shells and ravioli's taste like.

Sorry I should have posted the Bendix & Wagner hoses look very similar, they are NOT 100% Correct as they have double crimps . They do work OK as far as far as fitment.

Reviving this thread for a question.

What type of stencil tape did you use, Mike? I have a vinyl sign cutter machine available and want to try this. I tried having a custom stamp made and couldn't get enough color saturation. I have an airbrush and would like to try with a stencil.

thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Dave

EDIT: I see Mike hasn't been on the forum for awhile. Anyone else have any input?
