Flying Visit

Hi all.

They say last minute plans are the best, so with this in mind my wife and I have decided to spend part of our summer, here at least, vacation in Los Angeles. We will be in LA from Boxing Day for 10 days and was wondering if there was anything muscle car related going on in this period? I realize it is a quiet time of the year, but you never know. Shows, swap meets, whatever?

I never miss the Donut Derelics event on early Saturday morning in Huntington Beach.

Pomona Swap Meet is this weekend. Go if you can. Get there before the sun comes up, you will need the time, bring a flashlight if you do. Vendors start packing up around noon.

Have fun!

Hah. “Boxing Day” doesn’t translate here, need to say Dec 26th ;)

Peruse the link below and take your pick; lots of cruises, but no good swaps unfortunately.

Ping me and I’ll meet up with you at one if I can. We’re in the Midwest for The Actual Holiday, but should be back before the 30th.

One year my wife had a conference in Melbourne and I tagged along and as soon as we walked into the convention center I noticed a big auction... shamrock maybe? Anyway, I let her check in and we met up later ;)

The SoCalCarCulture link is your best bet. Here are a couple of other ideas.

Bob's Big Boy in Burbank/Toluca Lake on Friday nights can be fun. As a few have mentioned Socal Car Culture is a great resource. I'd try to connect up with you as well, but I'm heading out on a boat cruise.
