Ford Guys
Would like your opinion on this car, price, and collectability ? Just looking. I know little about these cars, love the color. :hmmm:
Chevy guy Mike :naughty:

I love them myself. Very cool cars. A local dealer had one for a little while. I don't know about collectability or future value, but I'd love to have one.

excellent cars. And this one put out over 600 hp. it was an excellent buy.

Crush 01-30-2018 02:54 PM

It’s gone

m22mike 01-30-2018 04:13 PM

The listing ended, I don,t think it sold. I may call the guy to talk about the car.

Mike

I've been watching the market on special Mustangs from 2005 to ~2012, and the prices are getting fairly reasonable. I've seen some Saleen's, Roush's, and Shelby's going for low $20's which may be good money once these become (more) collectible.

Xplantdad 01-30-2018 07:35 PM

There was one at Pavilions this past weekend....number 117 I think?

Dave Rifkin 01-30-2018 07:35 PM

Ford also made a Dan Gurney edition which may be more collectible now.

A12pilot 01-30-2018 10:08 PM

Mmmmmm..... if you want a Mustang, you need the Bullitt, Mikey!!!

Cheers
Dave

flyingn 01-30-2018 10:17 PM

I agree. the Dan Gurney is nicer.. Here is one on Bj that sold for $58k 5 years ago

As a former Saleen mustang owner, I would shy away from this one. They didn't come supercharged and someone along the way put an aftermarket cold air intake on it. The shifter is incorrect as well. Much nicer ones can be had around this price. It also looks like the number decals and Saleen documentation is missing.

I couldn't afford the paint job on it.......:Can-I-Have-It:

Mikey

A12pilot 01-31-2018 01:01 AM

Hmm...you're right.... you'd have to spend more money to buy paint and redo it to your standards!!!:burnout:

Cheers
Dave

In reference to Dave’s last post that almost blew my secret squirrel deal of keeping my “Ford Mustang guy coming out of the closet thing a secret” :smirk:. After all I hold him and only him responsible for this life long Chevy guy going in this direction, but I got totally brainwashed following the Bullet Stang thread. :naughty:
A few of you know I sold Black Beauty last fall after 18 years. 1969 SS, 10 10 pnt red stripe, L78, real M22 car, 4.10. X66 custom guts.
So not really looking for another old muscle car I happened upon these 2007 Saleen Parnelli Jones edition 1 of 500 Grabber Orange Mustangs. Love that color !
So after my original post asking about these cars and some reading about the car and searches I found #404 in North Carolina. So me and Grady made the road trip and now I am a Ford guy ? I think. :hmmm:
I am 100% happy with this car, WOW, new muscle what a blast to drive. Tibor might be onto something hear ?
Thanks Dave…your fault….Mikey

My sort of new ride.

Ssssaaawhhheeeeet!! That's an awesome car, Mike!

What? Me? I didn't do nothin'...:hmmm: I'm going to need a ride in that when we come up there in August. :3gears:

Very nice, and much better with the stock Minilite-look wheels. I think the 70 Boss 302s with those make the car stand out.

Cheers:beers:
Dave

Thanks Dave, jump seat is open , Maybe I'll sneak it into the Chevelle show.:D
