'72 Trans Am 455/4-sp, Original Owner, Original Paint, Docs, Wow

Has to be one of the more unmolested '72 TA survivors out there - still owned by the guy who bought it new. The aftermarket air is a bit of a bummer but shouldn't be terribly tough to remove. Sounds like there is plenty of paperwork including 1970s-era receipts for new GM parts.

Being as how the TA is in NM -- A/C isn't a bad idea if you want to enjoy the car year round ...

That build sheet is beautiful.

That's a pretty cool T/A. Too bad somebody attacked the underside with a black rattle can and changed so much underhood; that eats into its "survivor" status. The two flares per wheel was a semi-popular (if ill-advised) modification on 70s Trans Ams unfortunately. Car was obviously loved though, so kudos to the family.

I like the body number mistake on the build sheet, assembly line caught the error.

Might have been "cut out/cut in", meaning removed from the line during it's original sequence and reinserted later, for some reason (extended repair, missing major component or something).

I like the trailer hitch. A matching Glastron Carlson would look great behind the car.

At 69k I think they are dreaming though.

Under the Bonnet has been Raped. Who de-snorkels an air cleaner?
I get the AC, I got a buddy with a 70, he gets out with pit stains when he drives it. Lol.

Nice car , but Survivor?
Paint didn’t survive ( molded wheel flares ruined that )
Interior didn’t survive ( dash cracked , seat split)
Engine parts changed but still there so maybe
Tranny bellhousing painted black
Still a nice car that can be made right but will need painted and original interior parts
