Cars with Cragars
I am a firm believer that Cragars look good on everything. Just put them on the z last night https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...3384-image.jpg

Re: Cars with Cragars
That look's good.

Re: Cars with Cragars
Looks good, and I like that '74 Z in the background too.
Those '74 stripes with the Z28 integrated with the stripes always looked great to me. |
Re: Cars with Cragars
Funny you posted this, I was checking out the cragar website last night and posted a picture of one on my cars for their gallery. Your camaro looks great!

Re: Cars with Cragars
Serious considering these for my Chevelle, but I'm having a hard time deciding on sizes and whether to buy 4 of the same size or buy 2 7" and 2 8".

Re: Cars with Cragars
I love the look of Cragars. But... I don't like the unilug wheels.
When I was looking for some for my car, I couldn't find any of the early ones. |
Re: Cars with Cragars
These are not unilug, Cragar makes 5 on 4 3/4 gm bolt pattern and they use the conical ET style lug nut. The coolest thing I saw when I was mounting them yesterday was the stamping "MADE IN USA" these are all 4 15x7
Here is a picture of the lug nuts that I used. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...03-lug_nut.jpg |
Re: Cars with Cragars
Original owner liked Cragars all around for the street...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...hevelle008.jpg and Cragars and steelies for the track... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...e/image-18.jpg |

</div></div> Love the color. I was toying with new Cragars or Vintage Wheel Works V40's and went with the V40's Maybe some day I can afford another new set of rims. Love that car Dan. The cragars give the silver a brighter look. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...driverside.jpg |

Re: Cars with Cragars
Was never big on the Cragars growing up but a few years back I started having interest in them. Once I seen the gentlemen's one owner orange L78 69 Chevelle on another site I was sold on them. This car is just awesome. I could stare at this thing for hours. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...3417-image.jpg

Thanks Dan. While I do like the look of my rims, the Cragars 'ARE' by far the best looking for that old school look. For a true race car look, Cragars in the front and black steelies on the rear. My first Camaro was a 10 10 SS350 with Cragars in 74, which I have pictures of but unfortunately I never got side pics of that car showing the wheels. Are your Cragars vintage or new? They do look great with that silver. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...6-13412-1a.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...6-13413-1b.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...6-13414-1c.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...6-13415-1d.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...6-13416-1e.jpg |

Re: Cars with Cragars
This is one of my favorite camaros. I think I first saw it in hot rod around 1979. This is a timeless look. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...3454-image.jpg

The Cragar S/S's are nice but how about a set of Fan Star's!
The Z-28 I got them on, blasted, and the Trans Am they're on now! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...1_16.48.37.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...9-img_3312.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...0-img_3725.jpg |
