'70 Chevelle #s SS396/4-sp Yard Find

Cool car - originally Cortez Silver with black buckets and (evidently) no console - cool combo. Crusty as anything but looks fairly solid. Going to definitely need some repairs around the lower body seams, and I'm worried what lies beneath that vinyl top.

Bidding is already at $16k and I'm guessing it will sell around $23k.

Looks like one of the cars! (Nope not For Sale, going to fix it up one day)
Just my 2 cents

I'm pretty sure it had a "buy it now" of 20K before it hit the reserve at $15,500.

Cool car but $10.00 at the carwash before pics were taken would have gone a long way for the appearance and possible final price.

It wasn't that many years ago 25k would buy a very decent driver. Now it gets a pile of rust and a car needing a complete restoration.

Very interesting...was bid to $21k the last time around, and has been relisted in the link below with a $20k buy-it-now price:

:hmmm:

New auction includes a whole bunch of repro parts to restore. Why lower the price now and include all that ?? :confused2:

"console delete". Isn't that like saying "stripe delete" ? The console is an extra cost option, with a floor shifted manual.

Or "radio delete".

One of my car buying guidelines, if the area on an A body near the cowl tag is rusty or was rusty , Bring a magnet and a scope to inspect it!!
