'68 Camaro Interiors
So I have a buddy who recently acquired a '68 Camaro convertible which needs some, if not all of the interior replaced. I haven't seen the car yet. I searched the forum a little and saw some mentions of Legendary and SMS. Interior is white. Any recommendations on what source would be best? I know lead times seem to be a common issue. Like most, I know to him the most accurate reproduction is what he's after. Thanks guys.

If it's custom interior, I use Al Knoch Upholstery....Joe

I recently contacted Legendary for black/white houndstooth seat covers & I was told last week they are 26 weeks out, also told the same from HBC with their PUI interiors. I found a set of Al Knoch seat covers that a friend has had for a few years & I just dropped the seats off at my interior shop on Monday, I will give a review after I get them back.

Thanks, yeah let us know what you think.

I used PUI one time, and it was one time because I was not at all impressed with the product. This was on one of my 69 Camaros. A poor fit and a really flimsy material. Was almost impossible to keep it from ripping when stretching it over the foam

This is an Al Knoch interior. It's over 20 years old. Heavy weight Madrid vinyl. Yours won't have houndstooth but they do really nice work. I think the heavy weight is standard but you can ask...Joe

I bought Legendary '68 black deluxe covers and foam and was not pleased with the end result. The Al Knoch covers look pretty good.

Al Knoch claims his houndstooth material is 40% heavier than other brands.
