Fresh restored '69 COPO Camaro

Bought as a very nice unrestored former sYc "feature car". Soon after I bought the car, I sent it to Bruce Hershberger's shop where it was treated to a fresh body-off detailed restoration in 2005-06 complete with all factory assembly markings and details. Finished in striking Rallye Green metallic with black standard interior, this car has all the good stuff. L72 427 ["CE" counter exchange block], and the 4 speed M21 Muncie tranny is correct but not original to the car at manufacture date. The BE rear end is correct and believed original to the car. All factory date coded components, including factory smog and manifolds, Gardner exhaust, Endura bumper, etc. The factory original VIN and firewall trim plate were not removed during the restoration. I spent north of $135,000 for the restoration using NOS sheetmetal and numerous NOS parts and detail items in the rotisserie resto [including $2,200 to Charley Lillard for the upper/lower radiator hoses]. Correct Uniroyal F70 Wide Tread tires and factory XT wheels color keyed to match the body. D80 air spoiler equipment. Selected to participate in the indoor display at the Carlisle GM Nationals in 2006, and featured in numerous promotional materials for the event. GM of Canada documentation showing Belmont Chev & Olds Ltd, Weston, ON as the originating dealer. Dozens of pictures chronicle the restoration from start to finish. One of the most striking colors for 1969, this car would be a highlight to any supercar collection.

sYc Feature car

I previously advertised this car a few months ago. I received 2-3 offers at the time from fellow members here. I had a local offer for my asking price, but that deal ultimately went south for lack of doe-ray-me. The car hasn't moved 50' since I advertised it 10 months ago, but I start the car each month and keep the battery charged. I thought about taking the car to B-J Scottsdale, but didn't get myself registered in time to pull that off.

I'd like to flip this car without a bunch of the live auction or eBay auction baloney that comes with that sorta sale, so the new price is $185,000.

Thanks sYc for the ad space.
