'66 L72 Impala
Beautiful auction pics, but literally no description of any kind.
I'd sure like to know more about the car in the pictures, though! Thanks for sharing another cool one Tony! VIN 168376A140576 is actually correct, 66/67 V8SS identifier '68' unique so just seems odd. Sold at Mecum 2011 for $46 thou' w/ Original matching #'s description, some pics/info still alive here... https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0111-10...let-impala-ss/ :beers: - Pete . |

No, ...they should run under the wiper motor to the fender and under a half round clip. The problem is the clips are hard to come by.... Then up on to the cowl under 2 more clips.... |
Thanks Andy, totally escaped me that that was an Impala VIN! I’ll edit my original post.

Damn, that IS a beautiful car !!!

M21 car also. 2Q on the cowl tag. Pretty cool.

Perfect Impala. My favorite year, my favorite engine and my favorite number of pedals. I love the colors too.

The first high performance car I ever drove was a 66 SS Impala L72. It was black on black with low miles and sitting on a Chevy dealer's lot in Billings Mt. In hindsight I can hardly believe they let me drive it, I was 16.
