My new book covering 1962-1974 musclecars, DAY ONE, showcases the rarest of Joe Rosen's Gen I big-block Camaros: the SS-454 '69 Camaro built late in the model year when 427s were starting to be replaced by 454s. Check it out @ https://www.amazon.com/Day-One-Autom...7H7GY10CR0EEMG

To the Jim Thornton imposter:
Marty, I'm up to 1966. GREAT job!:worship: I'll be sending you an email as a follow-up. Verne:biggthumpup: Maybe this should have been the subtitle: "An autobiography of a guy who got paid to thrash the daylights out of Detroit's Muscle" |
Loved the book. Read it cover to cover over the Christmas holidays. The stories are priceless and you won't find anywhere else. Really recommend it.

I let Jim Thornton know about it and he thought it was hilarious! Glad you're enjoying it Verne. Marty

Martyn,
Speaking of the 454's - Mark Hassett just got his BM prepared for its first public display at the Erie, PA New car vintage car invitational-- since Mark acquired the car. The Rosen cars all have unique stance, and your book has it covered! |
Man o Man do I love those early 2nd gen BM cars
|
The L88 hood just belongs on 2nd gen Camaros.
