163 Intake
 

I need an aluminum intake for a March 69 engine, will consider later dates though as long as the intake is in good condition. Please PM me.

Dumb question I've aways wanted to ask... if these are only dated on the bottom, how can you tell it's the correct date (or not) once it's installed? Are there running production changes to the external appearance, or are you just happy knowing that you have the correct date in under there? I have one dated April 68 for what it's worth.

Contact Fred Schempp, Bergey. I know he has a few. Why worry about a date?

I always take pictures of the part numbers and dates for all components for the car's restoration "book". It's not a huge deal on parts like the 163 manifold, but if I could choose I'd have all parts line up correctly.

Picts emailed of (2) #163 intakes for your time frame- Feb 7 and Jan 8, I had some others put aside, let me check dates on those as well.
