Richmond Super T-10 Feedback
Does anyone have any feedback on the brand new Super T-10's offered by Richmond? I have a customer with a 78 Trans Am whose trans is bad, and it is not the original unit. The idea of brand new speaks to both of us, but I fear things like sub standard parts such as gears, bearings, etc.

I think all of the gears are made in China now. I was rebuilding a Richmond ST10 about a year ago and needed a cluster. I was told that they were coming from China. I don't know if that is a bad thing or not.

I have a M23Z in mine too.

I meant to say I built an Autogear M22 (supercase, iron mid plate, etc) over ten years ago for my 427 66 Nova straight axle car, and holeshot it at a little over 7k a bunch, and it hasn't broken (Yet). Most won' use them that hard, and Autogears newer stuff is even better.....

I've dumped the clutch with my M23 several times at 7000 RPM with 14 inch wide slicks and it hasn't broke yet. They are pretty tough transmissions. I built mine, but Jody does great work, and I've bought many parts from him. https://www.hotrodders.com/forum/aut...ld-468129.html
