Very cool. What is this thing worth restored?

Im sure at least a few people with no money sent him a note telling him theyd pay a fortune for it, so it ruins it for the next guy. Some things never change

Its a Catch-22 car. Because it was ordered with a shaker hood and the broadcast sheet and fender tag document it as a shaker car but it was built with a power bulge hood because of the assembly line issues at the time and no available shaker hoods.

So, in what configuration would you restore it? Shaker or no shaker?

Done to perfection, I'd say $150K since it's NOM. Challengers just do not bring the same money that the Cudas do....just ask the man who used to own one (me). And, I would bet that thing is gonna have more issues (rust) than the seller is claiming.

Thanks, that's interesting. I agree that it's an incredibly cool car but I suspect it will hit $75k+ before the music stops - and there's not a lot of meat left on that bone at a $150k restored value. And, I know we don't do this to get rich, but still....

Yes that's the rub with this car - firewall not pierced for shaker cable. For originality you don't do the Shaker. But for the bucks? You do.
