from an education POV - for me, was there some diff with the speaker grill area...???

does the vin number hole have the rounded corners vs the square ones (repops are square)

very cool piece to use for a high end resto!

I also had one of these for sale a few years ago and was told the speaker grille was not correct for a 69 Camaro. There was a post on here if someone wants to do a search.

This # in my parts say's it's for a 1969 Camaro

im sure it fits camaro - i had one yrs ago as well - i do think the speaker design is nova if i recall -

Assembly line '69 Camaro speaker grille had holes 9 rows wide and 16 long slots in each, making a rectangular area.

I think you could cut out the grill area Square to match assembly line.

The missing louvers are easily added with some simple drilling, sawing and filing.

Reproduction dash tops don't have the correct VIN opening nor do they have the speaker slots which appear to have a raised edge like a louver. 28 slots (7 on each corner) to drill saw and file would be a PITA however there are relatively few alternatives.
I would use it in a heartbeat if I needed a LOT of the dash to replace.
