got my engine back !
 

I picked up my L78/L89 engine yesterday. I can't wait to get it back in the 68. I didn't get any good pictures with the camera but did get a couple with the trusty cell phone....

This is what it used to look like. Lots prettier now https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif. I look at that picture now and cringe at the way I had the chain attached to the engine.. I won't be doing that anymore. I just recently started using the lift plates.

Yeah, good driver quality paint and nice new strong floors https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif. Got the interior sitting in the garage ready to set back in the car and then just need to get a windshield and figure out how to install it, I broke the original while figuring out the removal method.... Here is an old picture but it still looks the same. The orange engine is for the blue 72.

It's on it now, that was an old picture. I sold the cowl hood. This picture is current. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif I found that hood on Ebay and no one bid. I grabbed it for 126 dollars. It was just outside Chicago and a friend from Steves Nova site lived nearby so he picked it up when I bought it. A month later he brought it with him on his way to Texas. I met him in Memphis which isn't too far of a drive for me. I always thought that was extremely nice of him to do that. I was scared of having the hood shipped...

Tommy, that hood looks killer on that car and always wanted to see one on a Nova! PS, you have to send those tow tabs to Plowman. I want a pair!

I have been meaning to talk to Paul about making a set from these. Thanks for reminding me Jed. This set still has the yellow paint under the black that someone sprayed on them.
