Daytona 500
 

Though I can't stand what NASCAR has become, I do have qualifying on in the background. Currently New Jersey native Martin Truex Jr. has just knocked likeable old guy Mark Martin from the top spot.

50 BETTER NOT be old for regular guys.( I am hoping it's the new 35!)

But for full season stock car drivers I believe Mark is the oldest since Dale Jarrett retired. There were some older guys trying to qualify for the 500, oldest being 73. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif

Mark's in great shape.He's a work-out fanatic.Would put most younger men to shame.

I used to see Mark Martin all the time on friday nights at the local Chili's restaurant with his wife and family.
He is very short and looks older in person.
