Detroit hotel recommendations
 

As I know some of you head to the Woodward cruise each summer or actually live in or near Detroit, could you please recommend a nice, nearby hotel where I can feel safe parking my car overnight? For instance, do any have parking garages, etc?

This is a good place to stay. It's not right on Woodward, but it's close and easy to access Woodward from here. You will find that the parking lot is full of other cars and trailers at that time.
