big block oil pan ?????????
1 Attachment(s)
Has anyone seen a pan like this. The big sump area has been cut and then rewelded. It doesn't look like a home welding job but a factory weld job. I matched it up with a pan I have here and all the indentations are there just like a gm pan. Did morroso or some other aftermarket companies make pans that were just like a GM pan? Thanks guys.

That looks like the pan on my 67 Impala BB it has the step is so it clears the center link. Someone has welded a deeper sump on it.

There was a thread that discussed weather or not these pans came from the factory or who was extending them. Details of the conversation included the type and quality of the weld and paint finish. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif I had coco pebbles for breakfast, right? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif |
