Fast Earl Mitchell
 

I am looking for information and photographs of "Fast Earl" Mitchell. He was both a well-known street racer and Pro Stock driver from Paterson, New Jersey. I believe he sometimes raced on 150th near Kennedy Airport in Brooklyn, and drove a '69 Camaro for Heavy under Heavy and his brothers J&L Racing Enterprises. From the little I've found of him, I believe he was also on Eugene Coard's "United Soul Racing Team" as well.

Didn't one of these guys buy Wally Booth's 1969 camaro? I also think I saw Fast Earl at Raceway Park about 3 years ago running a pro Street type of classe. Something like a Top Sportsman class. The Raceway Park starter is a member of this Site. He may know some more info. Andrew Hinkley may be his name???

It was also mentioned in another thread that Mitchell's '69 had a Booth-Arons big-block Chevy.
