American Heroes 69 Camaro Sells for 500k!
Congratulations to my good friend Bill Jelinak and the crew from Route 66 Motorsports of New Lennox, IL.
Bill and his crew built the cool 69 Camaro, as chronicled in recent issues of Super Chevy magazine and shown at the Fall CVF. The car was built to be sold today at BJ Palm Beach to benefit the Armed Forces Foundation, which provides programs for veterans and families of veterans. The car brought $500,000! Congrats to a great group of guys! Bashton https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif |

It is neat to see good people involved with a great cause.
Bill is kind of a "behind the scenes" guy who has been working long and hard for many years. He is really starting to get some much deserved recognition. Bashton |

Bob, his name is spelled Jelinek, but you would have to be a Bohemian from Berwyn or Cicero, IL to know that! (Bill was originally from Cicero) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif
Bill is a true ARTIST and has been a friend of my father and I for a long time. I had seen the car in various stages of its progress at his shop and it looked wicked. I am glad that Bill's hard work went to a worthy cause. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif |
