Canadian documented L-78 Nova

I have been watching the Yenko site for about 6 years now. I finally joined when I caught wind of this L-78 nova. A special thanks goes to Tom (WILMASBOYL78), for taking the time to educate a stranger on what to look for & the proper codes to look for & where to find them all. I owe you a large pint of beer Tom.
Back to the car. It turns out it was a Canadaian sold car, so I verified the Doc's with George at Vintage GM services. Grabbed a flight out to Ontario, had a look at the car, verified the motor & the M-21 tranny as being correct. I wasn't able to find the codes on the rear end at that time. I sent some pictures to Tom, he seemed pleased with what I had told & showed him. I made a deal, & had the car transported back to central Alberta.
Have since found the codes on the rear end, it appears to be a BT code 3:55 posi unit & date correct. The heads are Dec3068 & Jan3/69. They also appear to be date correct 840 casting. The intake has the 163 casting, but I believe the date is underneath. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Car has what appears to be 51,000 original miles. Has had one repaint. Was Fathom green originally, now is Black. Was originally undercoated & rust proofed at some time in it's life. Tom figures it has a re-cored rad in it, so not sure if it's the original or not??!!
The car is missing it's original carb, distributor exaust manifolds & dog dish wheels. Now has a holley 750 dp, accell distributor, headers, & ss wheels
Not sure if the car was raced or not, but has 2 valves behind the license plate for air shocks & the engine mods, makes me wonder. Car was around Moncton, New Brunswick & Toronto, & Brandford, Ontario. I wonder if anybody knows the car from these areas ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I rebuilt the carb today, It runs much better. I'm sure it won't help the gas mileage much, but that's not why you buy one of these cars !! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif
Will post a few pictures of the car if I can figure it out.
Again, Thanks to Tom, your #1 in my books. Thanks Yenko for such an educational bunch of people. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Cheers

I'm in Brantford and would more then likely know this car. IF you can get a shot of it, I can take it from there. Know of a few L-78 that WERE green org.

I know of a Nova that was around Brantford for some years and if it was owned by a guy named Mark for about five years I have been in the car many times. Was it at Legendary in Milton?
