Question about drivers door decal??????
 

Does anybody know exactly what year and what model cars started using the blue GM certification/VIN decals that were originally placed inside the drivers door from the factory??

My 70 Nova SS has the original one still on the door. I was curious if Camaros, Chevelles, Vettes etc... received the same decals and if so what year they started....

Believe it was a fed. mandate and would have included all GMs (other makes too) starting in the 70 model year.

Camaros built during the month of August 69 & after already had them. A new door stamping allowed for the new blue decal

Give a call to ECS Automotive Concepts at 636-207-7767.They are reproducing the vin decals, for i had them make up one for my 72 Nova and it turned out good.It also comes with the clear covering already attached too.

Steve, a guy on E-bay is selling them. The seller name is sharonz28 and Item number: 260484420812. Buy it now for $27.50 They look very correct.
