Inch/Pounds Torque Wrench? What do you guys like?
Looking to get an inch / pounds torque wrench. I love SK tools, but open to any options for a good quality wrench. What do you guys recommend? Looking for around 10 - 200 inch pounds. Either 1/4 or 3/8th drive. Definitely a click type.
Thanks! -Dave |

I use a old Proto and a Snap-On and both feel just right to me..Both units are very accurate and hold up very well. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif

I have an old (15-18 year old) Snap On click type. It is a 3/8" drive. It registers in both inch/pounds and Nm and if I remember right it goes up to 600 in/lb. If my memory serves me correctly it is a TQFR-50A. I have used the heck out of it and it has never missed a lick.

I've been using a digital one. Some of them do both measurements. Very nice...

I have used a Snap On click type for over 30 years now. It has been a great dependable tool. Regardless which type/manufacturer you buy from have the torque wrench calibrated for accuracy. This is very important especially when it comes down to inch pounds.
