70 LS-6 " Hag Top "
 

Why hasn't anybody spoken of the HOT new find from Craigs List. 1970 LS-6 Chevelle rag top silver with red gut. Guy bought off craigs list for $14K recently out of Ohio. Had the car SOLD last weekend for $60k but buyer backed out. Lets say some of the pictures that i have show it a tad rougher then what he is showing. Would like everyones thoughts.

Rixls6 and I were discussing this LS6. Rough alright!!!! But I`m sure someone will buy it, restore it and then we`ll see it at BJ in about 4 years selling for big money.

The seller had it on Craigslist for about 2 weeks before the new owners snagged it. Ohio seller had mistaken it for an LS5 but knowingly sold it as an LS6 after reviewing the build sheet.

Nice build sheet. Car needs everything. It would have been a great project at 14K, but I see it needing six figures to get it back correctly.

There was plenty of discussion about it on the Chevelle website...it got real ugly and at least one and possibly two threads concerning the car got locked and/or many of the more offensive posts deleted.

Lets see - the guy selling on Team Chevelle shows an address of Long Island with his Team Chevelle screen name - the car is Listed to Be in Yorktown, NY - NOW on Ebay it is in Armonk, NY -- all the same pictures.
