Where do u find houses to rent for summer holiday?

Hello Guys

Planning on going to the states in July.
While i most of the time travel alone, i am planning on bringing my family this time.

I am looking for a house to rent for 3 weeks in July. I where thinking of trying to get a house around the lakes in GA, lake lanier etc..

Is there any website in particular that is used in the states to channel this kind of services?

Here we have a couple of sites that is typically used for this services..

If you know someone having a really nice place that they rent out, in a location with a nice climate during july, i am open for alternatives, close to water...

Any help is appreciated.

Nils

Pretty warm in Georgia in July...you should think about a lake house up north..Adirondacks, New England, Wisconsin..etc.

We always get a beach house on Monterey Bay in a town south of Santa Cruz called Aptos. It's just beautiful and cool there and by August in Texas, I'm ready for some cool.
Time it right and you can go to the Historic Races at Laguna Seca. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif

VRBO.com (vacation rentals by owner)
You could also call a local real estate office in the area you are looking at or call Ben Roethlesberger's Lawyer.

Lake George, NY.
Lake Cumberland, KY
Lake of the Ozarks, MO
Lake Havasu, AZ

without a boat it isn't worth being lakeside though..

I've been thinking about the temprature in GA at that time too..

hmmm maybe it's time to try a new place.

A boat is needed, but i am guessing that can be rented

All advice is appreciated.

New, lots of neat places to Vacation in the States, you need to decide what tempature you like first, then start looking around, some places get flat out hot and humid over here in the summer and also keep mind lots of bugs flying around where its green and warm...me I dig Desert weather a nice 80'deg day with a light breeze and access to water and the boat. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
