Are people just more stupid now, more ignorant or what ? My youngest daughter is starting drivers ed now and I see so much idiotic driving now it scares me.

Just got back from seening my Grandson. They live in Tuplo Ms.
A 4 way intersection 1/2 mile from his house 4 stop signs. The idiots run the stop signs a least 20 to 30 mph NEVER STOP.

I think people are just talking on the phone, checking email doing everything BUT driving. I see it all the time people reading their blackberrys talking on the phone. I had a lady talking on her phone almost hit me in a traffic circle that she had to yield to people in the circle which I was. She slammed on her brakes and gave me the finger and honked at me then went back to talking. She had kids in the car...great parenting.

Yep, people are more ignorant now. This is proof of what happens when you interfere with natural selection.

We just had a head on fatality last week. Story goes he was talking to his wife on the phone and was using his built in computer at the same time. Never saw the vehicle in front of him turning. He swerved to avoid and was hit head on. The sad thing is his wife heard the whole crash on her phone. 28 year old young man with two small childred left behind. People need to get back to driving and not texting/talking.
