How were factory installed 69 GTO shift rod's finished ?

Sam...just a shifter and rods, wish I had a 69 Goat, if I brought it out to AZ I might even git in that there Magazine...you know the one, &quot;Valley of the Sun Muscle Machines&quot;

Can anyone confirm a Hurst # 4178 handel is for a 69 GTO ?
Any other applications ?

From Pete Serio's book, 4178 is the first design 1967 Lemans or GTO, 3 or 4 speed with buckets seats, with or with out console.

Only in 67..You need a complete 69 shifter.
