who is still making the correct L78 camshaft any info would be a big help thanks

Rob Clary had a bunch made up. I still have one with lifters that I my be interested in selling.

Try the Technical and Restoration Section. There are several old posts regarding these camshafts. I used one on my 66 L72 and it's a really nice piece. Ed
