GM part #14079361 identification
 

Can anyone help identify this part #,I tried to do a search and the # does not come up. It is a front timing cover gasket kit I believe for a 69 and up BB because of the 10 holes and the hole for the dowel pin. Part #14079361 GR.0.010

The old parts book shows 3935449 as the part number, 1969-74. Perhaps there is a cross reference somewhere.

that appears to be a very new number, likely a supercession of the original part number

Sorry I did not get you this sooner (it took me a whole 5 minutes and three books). 14079361 is for 396 and 454 truck from 68-up. The old number was 476074 and was changed some time after 1/82. 3935449 was changed to 10114142 sometime after 1/82. This why the Parts Histroy books are so helpful.
