1966 Corvette L-72 Restoration
 

To All,

I recently got involved helping a friend with the final assembly of his 1966 Corvette convertible he is restoring. I wanted to share the car with all of you. It's going to be a real neat piece when done. This car is scheduled to be at the Mecum Auction in St. Charles / Bloomington Gold.

Real Red / Red Vinyl car
Real side pipe car
Power Brakes
Real F40 suspension
Restoation Block with original CR Muncie and 4.11 Diff.

You can faintly see (in this picture) the crayon marking N14 indicating a side exhaust car. That is the original crayon marking. Also some of the original red overspray.

The body has yet to be wet sanded and buffed. But, here are some general photos right after the black out in the engine compartment and wheel wells. I did notice that beer perched upon the battery tray in the first series of photos. NOS beer I imagine with a real detachable pull tab, no doubt?
