Elwood Engle, VP for Styling at Chrysler---Charger
there was a custom Charger built for him while he was VP for Styling at Chrysler. anyone have any info on the car they care to share? esp any chassis details

Search the list below which highlights most of the main design cars from the 61-74 period Engel was Chrysler Corp's design chief..
We looked at pics of the Diamante in a great thread here a few years back w/ the 'acid trip' RTS cars of Steve Juliano who's collection of Mopar cars and memorabilia is simply unfrigginbelievable!. Elwood Engel also oversaw the design of the 1968 Dodge Charger, 1970 Dodge Challenger, 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, and the revolutionary 1963 Turbine cars. A real unsung hero in the Mopar world. Exner gets a lot of attention, and rightly so, but Engel was another giant!
